Asian Tuna Salad.is a burst of flavours. Tangy taste of soy sauce and sesame oil when combined with salad leaves and tomatoes. It turns out out tender and juicy. - 350 Gm Tuna Steak, Cut Into Strips
- 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 Tsp Wasabi Paste
- 1 Tbspp Sake Or Sry White Wine
- 200 Gm Mixed Salad Leaves
- 150gm Baby Yellow Tomatoes, Halved
- 1 Cucumber, Sliced In Wide, Fine Strips
- 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Lime Juice
- 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 2 Tsp Sesame Oil
- Mix together the tuna, soya sauce, wasabi and sake or white in a non metallic bowl. Leave to marinate for 10 minutes.
- Arrange the saladleaves, tomatoes and cucumber on fouor serving plates. Make the dressing by combining all the ingredients in a screw top jar.
- Heat a nonstick frying pan over a high heat, add the tuna and fry for about 10 seconds on each side until seared.
- Place the tuna on the top of the salad, drizzle with the dressing and serve.
