It's a family time so we are offering you this wonderful dish which allows you spend time with your loved one not in kitchen for long :)and Crunchy Lemon Herb Roast Chicken is surely your recipe of the day.
- 1 N 1/2 Kg Chicken
- 1 Bunch Of Fresh Thyme
- 1 Bunch Fresh Rosemary
- 100gm Butter
- 1 Lemon Cut In Half, Cut in Half Horizontally
- 1 Head Of Garlic
- Salt To Taste
- Preheat oven to 200c .
- Season the inside and outside of the chickenwith salt and pepper. Stuff the cavity with lemon, garlic and half of the rosemary and thyme.
- Rub 100 gm of butter onto the skin of chicken.
- Place the chicken in a roasting pan and roast for approximately 45 minutes, or until skin is golden colured and the juice run clear.
- Make sure to baste frequently with the drippings to keep the chicken moist and rotate the pan every 20 minutes or so to ensure a crispy golden skin.
