Pasta-Upma is a saviour for those mommies who think pasta is unhealthy. Give your pasta a new indian flavour which is healthy too. Ingredients For Pastama

  • Penne ,Boiled 1 Cup
  • Olive Oil 2 Tablespoons
  • Mustard Seeds 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Green Chillies,Slit 2
  • Split Black Gram Skinless (Dhuli Urad Dal)1 Tablespoon
  • Split Bengal Gram (Chana Dal)1 Tablespoon
  • Curry Leaves 20-25
  • Peanuts 2-3 Tablespoons
  • Dried Button Red Chillies (Bor Mirchi)6
  • Onions,Finely Chopped 2 Tablespoons
  • Turmeric Powder 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Red Chilli Powder 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Veg Bolognese Sauce 3 Teaspoons
  • Salt to Taste
  • Pitted Black Olives,Sliced 5-6

Method To Prepare Pasta-Upma

  1. Heat olive oil in a non stick pan. Add mustard seeds, green chillies, black gram, Bengal gram, curry leaves, peanuts, button chillies and saute till fragrant. Add onions and saute well.
  2. Add boiled pasta, turmeric powder and red chilli powder and toss well.
  3. Add veg Bolognese sauce and salt and mix well.
  4. Transfer into a serving bowl. Sprinkle black olives on top and serve hot.
