Chinese Vegetable Sizzlers

An Authentic Chinese Vegetable Sizzlers Recipe

Vegetable Sizzlers is the sizzling blend of various vegetables and the spices. Make delicious Vegetable Sizzlers using this simple recipe.I love to serve this on a special heavy metal plate, there typical sizzling sound comes and gives authentic aroma.Vegetable Sizzlers are easy and yummy. it's really very easy to cook and very good for health as well.

  • 1 Large Carrot, Peeled,Cut And Boiled
  • 1 Potato, Peeled,Cut And Boiled
  • 1 Onion, Chopped
  • 1 Package (14 Oz) Firm Tofu Or Cheese, Pressed For 30 Minutes, Cubed
  • 3 -5 Cauliflower Florets, Washed,Cut And Boiled
  • 1 Lb Broccoli, Stems And Florets Trimmed And Chopped
  • 3 -5 French Beans, Cut And Boiled
  • 2 Tomatoes, Blanched And Chopped
  • 6 Oz Mushrooms, Sliced Thick
  • 4 Leaves Cabbage (Important- Do Not Omit)
  • 2 Slices Pineapple, Cut
  • 2 Pieces Apples, Cut
  • 2 Tablespoons Oil
  • Salt To Taste
  • 1 Tablespoon Black Salt
  • 2 -3 Tablespoons Tomato Ketchup
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1 Bunch Fresh Coriander Leaves, Chopped
  • 1 Green Capsicum, Chopped
  • 1 Red Capsicum, Chopped
  • 3 -5 Drops Vinegar Or 3 -5 Drops Butter

Method To Prepare

  1. First wash all the vegetables nicely in chilled water.
  2. Cut the carrot, potato, Frenchbeans and the cauliflower all lengthwise.
  3. Boil the above vegetables till half done.
  4. In a wok, heat the oil.Add the onions to it.
  5. Saute for a few minutes.
  6. Add all the boiled vegetables and saute.
  7. Add capsicums, tomatoes, pineapple and apple.
  8. Stir fry.
  9. Add salt, red chilli powder, black salt, corriander leaves and Tomato Ketchup.
  10. Toss well.
  11. Lay one fine leaf of cabbage on a hot iron griddle.
  12. Put the cooked vegetables on it.
  13. Just before serving, put few drops of vinegar or butter to bring that steam effect.
